COOKEVILLE – Area residents are encouraged to mark Sunday, Oct. 21, on their calendars as a day to enjoy food and drinks and to celebrate art and fine craft at Bacchanal, the annual fundraiser for the Appalachian Center for Craft at Tennessee Tech University (TTU).

The event will feature an extensive selection of wine, beer and a buffet, as well as a live auction of art and fine craft. It will be from 1-5 p.m. at Spankies Restaurant, 203 E. 9th St., Cookeville. The auction will begin at 2:30 p.m.

Local, regional and national artists will donate their work for the auction, and proceeds support student scholarships and the art programs at TTU.

Advance reservations are $45 a person until Friday, Oct. 19. Unless sold out in advance, tickets will be $55 at the door. For more information, visit www.tntech.edu/craftcenter/bacchanal. To make reservations, contact Shannon Terry at (931) 372-3051 or email sterry@tntech.edu.
