Bojangles’ sets opening date for Crossville restaurant

CROSSVILLE – Bojangles’, a Southern-style restaurant famous for its made-from-scratch biscuits, hand-breaded chicken and breakfast served all day, has set an opening date for its new restaurant in Crossville.

Bojangles’ will open at 2791 N. Main St. at 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16. The first 100 customers will be welcomed with $100 Bojangles’ gift cards and one will receive free breakfast for a year. The eatery will also give drive thru patrons a preview with a free 22-ounce iced tea from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14.

In addition to the Crossville location, Bojangles’ is planning to open a new restaurant in nearby Oak Ridge. The additions represent a continued economic investment in the Knoxville area market. The average investment made by the company for new locations is $1.7 million, and each new store creates an average of 80-90 jobs.

The more than 3,800 square-foot restaurants will seat more than 75 guests and serve all menu items from 5 a.m.-10 p.m. seven days a week.
